Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up GA4 for your website. When finished, copy the details listed in What We Need From You and submit them in your Premium Setup Form.

1 Create Account

Sign in to Google Analytics

  • Go to analytics.google.com.
  • Sign in with your Google account (use the one tied to your business/show).
  • If you don’t have Analytics yet, click Start Measuring.
2 Create a Property

Property setup

  • Click Admin → Create Property.
  • Name it after your show (e.g., “Tell Family Lights”).
  • Choose your reporting time zone + currency.
  • Click Next and complete business info.
3 Create a Web Data Stream

Connect your website

  • Under your new Property, click Data Streams → Web → Add Stream.
  • Enter your full website URL (include https://).
  • Give it a Stream Name (e.g., “Main Website”).
  • Click Create Stream.
4 Find Measurement ID

Copy your ID

After creating the Web Stream, you’ll see a Measurement ID at the top right (looks like G-XXXXXXX).

Tip: This is the code we’ll use to install GA4 on your site. Copy it exactly.
5 What We Need From You

Copy this into your Premium Setup Form

  • Your website URL(s).
  • Your GA4 Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXX).
  • Any specific pages you want tracked as conversions (Directions, Schedule, FAQs, etc.).
