Refunds & Returns

How we handle refunds, returns, and exchanges

Summary: Website services and subscriptions are non-refundable. Monthly subscriptions have a 12-month minimum term; you can cancel any time after the first 12 months to stop future renewals. For physical merchandise, we replace items that arrive misprinted, damaged, or defective (see “Physical products” below). We don’t accept returns for buyer’s remorse, wrong size, or color preference.

Subscriptions & services (non-refundable)

  • Minimum term: Monthly plans require a 12-month commitment. You may cancel any time after month 12. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Annual/upfront plans: Non-refundable once activated; cancel to prevent future renewal.
  • Scope: Includes website builds, templates, hosting, support retainers, add-ons, and other digital services.
  • Payment failures: Services may pause or go offline until payment is resolved.

Physical products (misprint/damage/defect only)

  • Eligibility: Claims accepted only for misprinted, damaged, or defective items. We do not accept returns/exchanges for buyer’s remorse or size/fit preferences.
  • Claim window: Submit a claim within 30 days of delivery. For packages lost in transit, submit within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
  • How to submit: Email info@lumos-designs.com with your order number, a brief description, and clear photos.
  • Resolution: Approved claims receive a replacement (or equivalent remedy if unavailable). Replacement shipping is covered by us.
  • Address issues: If the shipping address provided was incorrect/incomplete, additional shipping charges may apply for reshipments.

Late or missing refunds

If a refund or credit was approved but you haven’t seen it yet:

  • Check your bank/card statement again.
  • Then contact your card issuer — posting can take a few business days.
  • Next, contact your bank; processing times vary.
  • Still no luck? Email info@lumos-designs.com.

Cancellations

  • Physical orders: We can attempt to cancel before fulfillment. If already shipped, it can’t be canceled.
  • Subscriptions: Cancel any time after your initial 12-month term from My Account. No prorated refunds.

Exchanges

We only replace items that are misprinted, damaged, or defective upon arrival. Start a request within 30 days of delivery.

Chargebacks

If a chargeback is filed while work, hosting, or support is active, access may be paused during review. We’re happy to help—please contact info@lumos-designs.com first.

Refunds

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 48 hours. If 48 hours have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

Lumos Designs does not offer refunds for Lumos store products.

To complete your return, we require proof of purchase.

Refunds

If your refund request is received with in 48 hours of your purchase, Lumos Designs will process a refund with in 7 business days.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges

Lumos Designs does not offer exchanges of any kind.
